King of Thieves – First Thoughts

The first truly new game of my con so far from Triple Ace Games, is a small bluffing game of raiding tombs in the setting of the Arabian Nights.

Had a couple of turns as a demo and I can see the appeal of a bluff game in such a small imprint. Each round a new tomb is revealed consisting of two cards with symbols on and an amount of gold. Gold wins you the game. Each player has a hand of cards with symbols matching the tombs and you take 3 rounds of putting cards in, risking your reputation and seeing if you can bluff out a win from the other players.

Neat wee game, and it’s nice to see Triple Ace, who are a lovely bunch of guys, branching out into other games and growing their brand
