I am an independent tabletop games reviewer, designer and occasional publisher based in Dalkeith, Scotland. I have experience as an exhibitor, designer and small scale publisher. On the site you will find lots of reviews, previews and critique of games and events that I attend.

First Thoughts
These are games I have played through once and that I don’t own, the sort of experience I met get at a con or a games meetup. I have not read the rulebook so cannot comment on it, but I can give you an overview of the mechanics and how I felt about the game. You can see an example of this kind of review here.
Preview
These are games that I have played as many times as it takes me to get a handle on them and are not out in general retail yet. They will either be coming to Kickstarter soon or are releasing in some other way in the not too distant future. I am likely to have been given a not quite final copy of the game by the publisher but I will make that clear at the top of the preview. You can see an example of this kind of review here.
Review
This is a game that I most likely own and have played a couple of times at the very least. This will be a full dive into the games theme, mechanics and rulebook explanations. You can find an example of this kind of review here.
